Active PLS Member – Professional Land Surveyor in good standing in the State of Montana.

Associate Membership – Actively training as a PLS under the direct supervision of a PLS and is recommended by a MARLS PLS.

Non-Resident PLS Membership – PLS who resides outside Montana and does not practice in Montana.

Affiliate Membership – Any person in a profession or business associated with the profession of land surveying who is approved by the MARLS BOD.

Sustaining Membership – An individual or institution that desires to assist financially in the work of the association.

Emeritus Membership – Any person who has been registered in the State of Montana as a PLS, and who otherwise complies with the requirements for Emeritus status as specified by the PELS Board of Registration, State of Montana.

Student Membership – Any person who is enrolled as a student in a higher education surveying curriculum.
