The Montana Association of Registered Land Surveyors (MARLS) Scholarship Foundation is a nonprofit offering scholarship funds to students who have graduated or are anticipating graduation from a Montana high school and are interested in pursuing an education in surveying at a Montana institution. Scholarship funds are also available for students entering the second year of a two-year surveying curriculum or the third year of a four-year curriculum with a surveying emphasis.

The MARLS Scholarship Foundation conducts fundraising annually for its scholarships, with Montana surveyors pitching in the lion’s share. The organization has supported promising student surveyors for more than 20 years.

Online applications for the 2027-2028 school year are now available. The First-Year Scholarship deadline is July 31, 2027. The Continuing-Student Scholarship deadline is June 30, 2027.
